Accounting

Your company's double-entry accounting, with the French, Belgian and Luxembourg charts of accounts.

AvailableCreate an account

Accounting installs on your device (Windows and Linux) and opens with your Prophetix account, the same one as for the web applications.

Accounting keeps your journals and entries, and checks every entry before accepting it: balance between debit and credit, open period, unlocked journal. Trial balance, general ledger, balance sheet and income statement follow from them.

The chart of accounts is chosen in the settings: PCG for France, PCMN for Belgium, PCN for Luxembourg, each with its own VAT rates.

Bank statements are imported (CODA, MT940 or CSV) for reconciliation, and the file of accounting entries (FEC) is imported as it is exported.

Good to know

  • The CODA and MT940 readers are simplified: check your statements after import.
  • Due-date reminders are recorded in the application; they do not send any message.
  • The file of accounting entries (FEC) is imported and exported, without any guarantee of compliance with a legal requirement.
  • VAT rates and charts of accounts are starting points to be checked with your chartered accountant.
  • Linux version: launch and file pickers not verified on a real computer; no automatic update.
