Finances perso tracks your accounts and your budget month after month, and prepares the items for your tax return, including rental income kept in Property.

Accounts and transactions

Bank accounts of several types (checking, savings, credit card, investment, loan), with IBAN, currency, balances and the choice of including them in the aggregate balance.
Entry of transactions with category, counterparty, reference and notes; search and filters by account, category and period.
Reconciliation: match two transactions with each other and track those not yet reconciled.
Dashboard: balances, income, expenses, alerts and charts of your finances.

Import, export and backup

Import of statements as CSV, Excel, OFX or QIF with preview, column mapping and duplicate detection.
Export of transactions as CSV, OFX or QIF.
Full backup of your data and restoration from a file.

Budgets and bills to pay

Monthly, quarterly or annual budgets, with one line per category and comparison of planned to actual.
One-off or recurring bills to pay, with reminders, recorded payment and overdue indicators.
Alerts for overdue bills, low balance and exceeded budget.

Savings goals and debts

Savings goals (emergency fund, retirement, vacation, education...) with contributions and "What if..." scenarios.
Detection of goals running behind schedule and overall savings progress.
Debts with rates, payments and repayment strategies (avalanche, snowball), compared plans and estimated end date.

Investments and currencies

Portfolios and positions (stocks, ETFs, bonds, funds, cryptocurrencies...) with cost, value and gain or loss, with prices entered by you.
Currency converter and aggregate balance in the reference currency.
Reports: spending by category, income versus expenses, cash flow, net worth, budget, investments and debts.

Tax years and income

One tax year per filing year, with the French income tax scales from 2022 to 2024.
Salaries by employer, payslips, remote working days and countries worked in.
Property income (unfurnished rental, furnished rental, LMNP, SCI) with deductible expenses and net income per property.
Tax-exempt income tracked separately: allowances, scholarships, regulated savings, gifts and others.

Tax estimate

Estimate of income tax bracket by bracket, with net taxable income and average tax rate.
The result is saved in the tax year and carried over to the dashboard.
Tax dashboard: total income, estimated tax and breakdown between salaries and property.

On your devices

Windows desktop application and Linux version, with a local database on your computer.
Integrated Prophetix account: My space, sign-out and release of the computer.
No web or mobile version for now.

Import of the rental income kept in Property.
Preparation and filing of the tax return: forms, preview, online submission.
Calendar of tax deadlines with reminders.
Automatic retrieval of accounts from the bank and online update of rates and prices.

Good to know

Finances perso brings together the functions of Money and Taxes; the application is in preparation and these limits apply to it.
The tax estimate is indicative: it counts only one family quotient share and leaves out investments, companies and tax credits.
No claim of tax compliance; the scales must be checked every year.
On Windows, manual entry of transactions is not yet saved to the database; import is.
The automatic categorization rules are still three built-in examples.
