Business

Sales, customers, invoicing, stock and accounting in a single application.

In preparation Create an account

Business brings together what a small company does every day: drawing up a quote, invoicing, tracking payments, keeping its stock and its accounts.

The accounting follows the Belgian chart of accounts, with fixed assets, cost accounting and expense reports.

Business is in preparation. It will join the Prophetix subscription catalogue when it is released.

  • List of orders to invoice and sales analysis: revenue, average basket, customers invoiced and items sold.
  • Quotes and purchase orders as PDF.

Document layout

  • Addresses for window envelope, logo, company block, title, watermark, margins, font, accent colour and table style.

Electronic invoicing

  • Check before sending: common rejection rules, French notices, SIREN check digit and consistency of the VAT number, with a link to the screen to correct.
  • Tracking of the life cycle as a timeline (submitted, rejected, refused, paid…); the Paid status is notified when the invoice is settled.

  • Chorus Pro and approved platforms are to be acceptance-tested with your provider; e-reporting is not transmitted automatically.
  • Emails go out in test mode, to a single address, until you turn it off.
  • No claim of legal or tax compliance: the templates and notices are to be validated.

Brands — Brands and identity

  • Holds as many brands as you want: the company, its products, its ranges.
  • Creates a brand from its name; the list shows for each one its logo (or its letter), its tagline, its palette as swatches and the number of colors, fonts and files.
  • Derives a brand in a single click: colors, fonts, rules and files are copied, and the original brand does not change.
  • Deletes a brand after confirmation, offering to export it first; nothing can be recovered afterwards, except from an export.
  • Records the brand's name, website and tagline (signature, slogan).
  • Writes the company presentation, the "about" text.
  • Notes the mission, the promise and the values.
  • Describes the tone and the way of writing: informal or formal address, words to use or to avoid.

Brands — Logos and icons

  • Stores every variant of the logo: primary, horizontal, vertical, symbol only, monochrome, negative for dark backgrounds, favicon, social networks, email signature.
  • Accepts PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, SVG and ICO images, as well as PDF, EPS and AI files.
  • Uploads several files at once, with a preview of each.
  • Reads the pixel dimensions of images and displays the file sizes.
  • Flags the logos made for a dark background and shows them on a dark background.
  • Names each file, states its variant and its use, downloads it or deletes it.

Brands — Colors

  • Builds the brand palette with one role per color: primary, secondary, accent, neutral, background, text, success, warning, error.
  • Gives the hexadecimal, RGB and CMYK values for each color, plus the Pantone code if you enter it.
  • Calculates the CMYK value when you do not provide it, flagging it as calculated and to be validated by the printer.
  • States the use of each color: buttons, links, headings...
  • Reorders the colors and picks a shade with a color picker or by typing its value.
  • Shows the contrast of white text and black text on the color being entered, before saving.
  • Displays a contrast matrix of all the pairings in the palette, text against background.
  • Rates each pairing according to WCAG 2: AAA (7:1), AA (4.5:1), AA+ (3:1, large headings and icons only), otherwise decorative.

Brands — Typography

  • Describes the brand's fonts with their role: headings, body text, accent, figures and tables, code.
  • Shows the weights used, the fallback fonts, the use, the license and the source of each family.
  • Displays a specimen in each weight, with French accents and ligatures.
  • Uploads WOFF2, WOFF, TTF or OTF font files, used for the specimen and included in the export.
  • Provides the CSS font stack, ready to copy.
  • Reorders the fonts; deleting a font leaves its files in Visuals and templates.

Brands — Visuals and templates

  • Stores photographs, illustrations, patterns, document and presentation templates, guidelines as PDFs.
  • Accepts Word, PowerPoint and Excel templates (DOCX, DOTX, PPTX, POTX, XLSX), OpenDocument (ODT, ODP), PSD, ZIP, TXT and Markdown.
  • Classifies each file as a visual, a template or a document.
  • Describes each file, downloads it, edits it or deletes it.
  • Limits each file to 25 MB.

Brands — Usage rules

  • Records what to do, what to avoid, or simple information.
  • Illustrates, for example, the logo's clear space, its minimum size, the permitted backgrounds, the forbidden distortions, the color pairings to avoid.
  • Adds a title and details to each rule, and reorders them.
  • Tells the rules apart by a sign and a label, which a screen reader can also read.

Brands — Brand guidelines

  • Gathers on one page a brand's identity, logos, colors with their values, fonts and rules.
  • Prints the guidelines or saves them as a PDF from the browser; menus and buttons disappear when printing.
  • Provides the CSS variables of the palette and the fonts, ready to paste into a website.
  • Provides the design tokens in the W3C Design Tokens format, for mockup and style-generation tools.
  • Downloads the brand's complete package as a ZIP archive.

Brands — Import and export

  • Exports one, several or all brands as a ZIP archive, even in read-only mode.
  • Package contents: the brand as JSON, the CSS variables, the design tokens, the palette as CSV and the original files.
  • Can be read without our tools: your organization's data leaves freely.
  • Imports a package, keeping the existing brand alongside under another name, or replacing it.
  • Checks the archive on import: size and number of entries limited, allowed extensions, SHA-256 fingerprints verified, all in a single transaction.
  • Moves brands from the server to the workstation and back, by exporting on one side and importing on the other.
  • Displays an import report with the warnings to check.

Brands: access, devices and limits

  • Brands are controlled by two rights in the Business catalogue: view (branding.view) and create or edit (branding.edit); each organisation only sees its own brands.
  • Same single sign-on, same licence and same data as the rest of Business: nothing more to buy or install.
  • Desktop (Windows, with a Linux Ubuntu package in amd64 and arm64) and Android: the brands module offline, without a server; brands move from the server to the device, and back, through the ZIP package.
  • The desktop counterpart is not offered yet: its licence is not connected and the Microsoft Store publication is still to do.
  • The Android application is built but has not been tried on a phone yet.
  • No synchronisation between the server and the device: two edits of the same brand are not reconciled.
  • The computed CMYK is a conversion without a print profile: have your printer check it.
